Nurmunirah Abu Bakar commenced her pupillage in Messrs Presgrave & Matthews in September 2012 and was admitted to the Bar on 5th July 2013. In July 2013, she joined Messrs Rusmin Ida & Taryna as a Legal Assistant and later been made Junior Partner. She later established Messrs Munirah Bakar & Co as the founder of the firm.

She is predominantly involved in the area of civil litigation with emphasis on among others contractual law, land law, tort, energy law, banking & finance law, and bankruptcy law. She has vast experience in conducting cases in the Subordinate Courts, High Court and the Court of Appeal of Malaysia and some of her cases have been reported and published as authoritative cases by the Malaysia Law Journal and the Current Law Journal.

She is also indulging in the practice of general conveyancing in relation to sale of properties for individuals and the documentation of its financing.
